Packing our backs!

We had to pack as light as possible while still bringing any equipment we would possibly need in case of emergencies, which was a hard task. We started packing our backpacks at the Longs Park trailhead, with an of elevation 9,370 ft., where we would leave our car for the night. And unfortunately, getting our own bear canister from the store was a responsibility we didn’t know beforehand, so our time schedule got pushed back a little bit. We started packing as the sun was ending it’s set so we both knew we would be hiking in the dark with nothing but our head lamps to see … Which is not recommended!
