Packing up CAmp
When we returned to our site, we packed up camp and hiked the descend. It was a lot easier hiking down the mountain than up with our gear, especially because we could see with the day light!
When we got back to the trailhead with our parked car, what I just accomplished sunk in and I was itching for more backpacking! Because I pushed myself to backpack, I now feel like I won’t want to camp any other way. Backpacking is the closest to nature I could get without getting super primitive and I loved every minute of it!
